MEK Commander Safavi has given several interviews elsewhere in Top Channel, in which Ali Safavi has tried to defend the Albanian government and Ardi Veliu, saying that the statement about the Iranian cell was made by Albanians and not MEK, thereby denying the statements of the Opinion show. Interior Minister Besfort Lamallari and Artan Hoxha told Albanians that MEK maintains an intelligence service in Albania to inform the Albanian authorities about Iran. Safavi has tried to limit the damage caused by this legal and diplomatic scandal. But in an interview with ABC News, terrorist Commander Ali Safavi has attacked former Mojahedin members who have abandoned terrorism and escaped from the Manze camp.
